Don’t touch your cat’s litter box if you’re pregnant. Soiled cat litter contains chemicals that are very harmful to pregnant women. Have your spouse, if you’re single, friend or family member change the litter in your home until the baby is born.

To minimize the swelling, sleep on your body’s left side, let your feet soak in some cold water, don’t wear socks that have tight bands and avoid crossing your ankles when you sit.

There are a few foods that you should be avoided by pregnant women because they could harm your baby. You must avoid unpasteurized milk, any type of raw seafood, certain fish and soft cheeses.
